The Bowers & Wilkins Story

Founded as Bowers & Wilkins in Worthing, England in 1966 by John Bowers and headquartered in Worthington, England, Bowers & Wilkins opened the Steyning Research Establishment in 1982. This facility separated R&D from Manufacturing, which allowed for freedom of thought and experimentation not bound by the parameters of manufacturing. This has resulted in industry-leading innovation.
